Acera Victoria is looking for an ambitious, engaging experienced Client Advisor, Commercial Auto Insurance to join our team. The successful candidate will work on large and small fleets, garage policies, special coverage policies and personal auto policies for commercial clients to name a few things. You will have strong knowledge of commercial auto insurance needs, and rating and coverage requirements for commercial vehicles.
Location and Status:
Victoria, BC (Uptown and Royal Bay)
Permanent full-time employment (37.5 hrs/week)
Hours M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay Range : Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $52,000 - $60,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, insurance experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and technical knowledge to our clients in person, on the phone, and through email;
- Review and process ICBC and private auto renewals, endorsements, new plate policies and cancellations;
- Work with the Commercial Auto Team to ensure service levels and client expectations are met and exceeded;
- Thoroughly review claims histories and repayment options;
- Be a good resource, using your knowledge and expertise, for our team members;
- Liaise between ICBC and the client to ensure coverage needs are met;
- Assist in the batching of the documents in the ICBC and the Autolink system;
- Assist in the management of the commercial auto renewal lists;
- Assist in the management of the Team’s EPIC Homepage and general email box;
- Work with our Broker Management System (EPIC) and follow workflows;
- Review private auto policy wordings and associated documents for accuracy, completeness and note and correct any errors;
- All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- General Insurance level 2 license is considered an asset;
- CAIB and/or CIP Designation, or on an education plan;
- 2 years ICBC experience is considered an asset;
- Fleet / Garage experience is considered an asset;
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, challenging work environment;
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office;
- Work effectively and efficiently in our Broker Management System;
