As Market Lead, Robotaxi Business Operations; you will unlock rapid scaling of our Autonomous Vehicle fleet while delivering unparalleled product quality. Your focus will be building out necessary resources and infrastructure to deliver excellent operational performance across fleet services, customer service, and technical operational development. To be successful, you need to ensure the highest performing teams and outcomes in each of these areas.

Immediately dive deep into creating highly scalable operational processes based on first principles of technical analysis. You will be expected to find the ideal outcomes across all the fleet and business operations. Finally, we are revolutionizing the world with this product, expect to be challenged in a rapid and highly dynamic environment.

- Own the Robotaxi market as a business: customer experience, fleet performance, infrastructure readiness, revenue and cost in your geography

- Build market operations playbook from first principles in operational strategy focused on growth unlocks, customer service, product quality and user retention

- Run the daily and weekly operating cadence against market KPIs (vehicle downtime, customer outcomes, completed rides, wait times, cost). Spot gaps early and close them in the field

- Take personal ownership of poor customer experiences — call customers, collect feedback, de-escalate, and drive the cross-functional changes that prevent recurrence

- Rapidly identify and resolve scaling roadblocks, daily services, customer service, and operational SOP development

- Drive accountability of outcomes from local hub and site operations — vehicle flow, turnaround time, charging, parking, and staffing readiness

- Coordinate on-the-ground demand gen and city events with marketing, local municipality leadership, and Tesla geofence teams

- Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, proof of exceptional skills in a related field, or equivalent experience. MBA a plus, not required

- 5+ years scaling technical operations and business performance, including 2+ years at senior-manager scope: owning multi-team outcomes, including large field operation orgs, not interested in a project coordinator alone

- Demonstrated success in autonomous ride-hailing, robotaxi, or high-intensity rideshare / fleet operations. You understand both the technical operating system (fleet, service, charging, daily service, SOPs) and the business system (growth, retention, product quality, unit performance, competitive dynamics)

- First-principles operator: you design highly scalable SOPS that deliver quality products and outcomes to all customers

- Bias to action in ambiguous, fast-changing conditions. You will work across product, vehicle software, service, charging, finance, policy, and local government without waiting for a perfect org chart

- Level, controlled, highly skilled communicator, cool under pressure but relentless in delivering high-quality products in record time
