About Our Family

We are a busy, warm family in Glenview with two young children and our beloved black lab, Pepper. Both of us work outside the home most days, although one of us has some flexibility to work from home when needed. Life is full right now, and we’re at a point where having the right person alongside us would make a meaningful difference. We want our home to feel organized, welcoming, and easy to live in, even when the days get busy.

We’ve had help in our home before, so we understand how much the right person can bring to a household. We’re looking for someone reliable and proactive who can step in, notice what needs to be done, and help keep things moving without creating extra noise or disruption. Just as importantly, we want someone who is warm, respectful, and comfortable becoming a trusted part of our household while maintaining a thoughtful sense of privacy and discretion.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You’re the kind of person who naturally notices what needs to happen and takes care of it without waiting to be asked. You’re organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently, whether that means keeping household routines on track, anticipating what’s coming next, or simply noticing the little things that make a busy home run more smoothly. You take pride in being someone your family can truly rely on.

You also understand that being in someone’s home requires trust. You are warm and kind, communicate openly, and know when to step in and when to give the family space. You don’t need constant direction, but you also aren’t afraid to ask questions or keep the family in the loop when something important comes up. Ultimately, you bring a calm, capable presence to the home and genuinely enjoy making everyday life feel a little easier and more supported.
