Delivery Helper

At Capital Beer & Beverage, we are looking for a dependable Driver Helper to support the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to licensed customer accounts and between company locations. This role assists with product delivery, customer check-in, payment collection, product returns, and completion of required delivery documentation.

What Youll Do

In this role, you will support daily delivery operations and provide professional service to customers.

- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional and safe manner when authorized.

- Deliver products as invoiced to designated licensed retailers.

- Check in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

- Collect and account for customer payments as required.

- Account for all invoices, delivered merchandise, and returned merchandise.

- Collect empty boxes for redelivery in accordance with company guidelines.

- Complete required delivery logs, including Mobile Cast entries.

- Follow established daily check-in procedures.

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED.

- Three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Current, valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by tens and hundreds.

- Ability to perform calculations involving U.S. currency, weight, volume, and distance.

- Ability to address problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements

The employee regularly:

- Stands, carries products, and performs lifting activities for extended periods.

- Performs physically demanding delivery work involving strenuous labor.

- Lifts, carries, lowers, and moves products weighing up to 100 pounds.
