About Hypha

Hypha is an AI-native platform transforming asset management across the full lifecycle—acquisition, management, and exit. Focused on healthcare facilities and multifamily real estate, we're revolutionizing the industry through three key pillars:

- Observability: Providing real-time visibility into asset performance, deal progress, and market conditions for all stakeholders
- Intelligence: Enabling AI-driven multidimensional optimization with risk scores, tax strategies, and benchmarking
- Orchestration: Creating seamless workflows and a single source of truth to eliminate inefficiencies

Role Overview

We’re looking for a GTM Engineer to inherit and evolve the revenue systems layer the automation, data pipelines, and outbound infrastructure that our sales and marketing teams run on every day. This is not a maintenance role. You’ll start by learning what exists, but your mandate is to rebuild and extend it for the company we’re becoming, not the company we are today. We’re a 50-person team now; you should be architecting systems that hold up at 5x that size without a rewrite. We care far more about how you think about scalability and tradeoffs than about which specific tools you’ve used before our stack will change, your judgment shouldn’t have to.

## Core Competencies

- Own the GTM automation layer end-to-end enrichment, lead/account routing, scoring, outbound sequencing, and the integrations that connect our CRM, data warehouse, and go-to-market tools into one coherent system
- Inherit and re-architect existing workflows Audit what’s currently running, understand why it was built that way, and make deliberate calls on what to keep, rebuild, or retire
- Build outbound automation infrastructure that scales prospecting and personalization without scaling headcount: enrichment waterfalls, signal-based triggers, AI-assisted research and messaging at the account and contact level
- Deploy and maintain custom AI agents in production not just prompt a chat window, but build, ship, and operate agents that do real work inside the GTM stack (research, enrichment, qualification, outreach drafting), with the engineering discipline to keep them reliable: versioning, testing, cost/latency tradeoffs, and graceful failure when a model call goes wrong
- Set technical direction, not just execute tickets . Bring a point of view on where the GTM stack should go over the next 12–18 months and build toward it, not just what’s asked for this sprint
- Design for the next stage of the company . Build systems assuming 3–5x current headcount and revenue think in terms of architecture and data contracts, not one-off automations
- Instrument and monitor what you build alerting, error handling, and runbooks so systems (including any agents you deploy) fail loudly and get fixed fast, not silently and slowly
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to translate revenue strategy into working systems
- Make build-vs-buy calls on tooling as the stack evolves, with an eye toward consolidation over sprawl

Ideal Candidate

- 3 - 7 Years of Experience scaling GTM systems somewhere between $0 and $20M ARR; You’ve seen what breaks at each stage and you build ahead of the next one, not just for today
- A builder’s mentality, not a maintainer’s. You’d rather design the right system once than patch the same workflow for the fifth time
- Strong technical fundamentals: comfort with SQL, API integrations, and scripting the specific language doesn’t matter to us, but you need to be able to build without waiting on engineering
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining AI agents in production, not just prototyping them. Monitoring output quality, handling model/API failures gracefully, managing cost and latency, and iterating on prompts and logic without breaking what already works
- Fluency with modern automation and AI tooling you’ve used platforms like Clay, n8n, Make, or similar to build enrichment and outbound workflows, and you’re comfortable working with LLM APIs directly when a no-code tool isn’t enough
- Judgment over tool familiarity. Our specific stack matters less than your ability to evaluate, adopt, or replace tools as our needs change
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership. You’ll often be the one deciding how something should work, not just how to build what someone else designed
- Clear communication you can explain a system’s tradeoffs to a non-technical stakeholder and defend a technical decision to an engineer

## Nice to Have

- Background in RevOps, marketing operations, or sales engineering at a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech company
- Experience with warehouse-first data architectures (Snowflake/dbt-style pipelines, reverse ETL)
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive industry (fintech, healthtech, etc.)
- Prior experience being the first or founding GTM/automation hire somewhere

Why Join Hypha

- You’re inheriting a running system, not a blank page but you have real license to change it.
- You’ll have a direct line to strategy and the autonomy to make architectural calls most GTM Engineer roles don’t grant this early.
- Competitive compensation package: $160,000-$190,000 base salary + equity

If you want to build the revenue engine for a company before its next stage of scale not just keep the lights on for its current one this is that role.
