Role Overview
Kodak is seeking a skilled mechanical assembler to assemble large precision equipment. Expertise in working with hand tools and measurement instruments. We are looking for skilled people who have a good history of work performance.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Performs assembly work as part of a team of skilled workers, engineering, and management personnel.
- Assembles machines such as high-speed rotating shafting, frame assemblies, gears and pulleys, motors, bearings, and belt conveyors using hand and power tools.
- Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, and fork trucks.
- Other duties as assigned by management including periodic travel.
Required Skills:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Previous experience as an assembler, millwright, maintenance technician or equivalent of at least 5 years.
- Must have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Working Conditions:
- Job tasks performed in an air-conditioned environment.
- Full-time first shift (dayshift) opportunities are available.
- Overtime and Saturday may be required as workload dictates.
