Responsible for leading daily maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities. Provides technical leadership by coordinating maintenance work, mentoring maintenance technicians, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and
supporting equipment reliability through preventive maintenance and continuous improvementinitiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and lead daily maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic controls, PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to maximize equipment availability.
3. Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
4. Assign, coordinate, and monitor daily maintenance work while supporting the Maintenance Supervisor in meeting production priorities.
5. Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
6. Promote compliance with company policies, safety requirements, environmental standards, and maintenance procedures.
7. Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improved reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
8. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment history, and inventory using the maintenance management system.
9. Support equipment installations, modifications, facility improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
10. Coordinate maintenance inventory, spare parts, tools, and external service providers as required.
11. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and other departments to resolve equipment issues and improve manufacturing performance.
12. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating collaboratively with customers, suppliers, contractors, co-workers, and management.
13. Help the company meet its Strategic, Quality, Safety, and Operational objectives.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Decision Making Authority
The Maintenance Lead has the authority to coordinate daily maintenance work, assign tasks, prioritize repair activities, and make technical decisions regarding equipment troubleshooting and repairs within established maintenance standards. The role provides technical leadership, mentors maintenance personnel, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures. Recommendations involving capital expenditures, staffing decisions, major equipment modifications, or changes to maintenance processes are escalated to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for identifying operational risks and escalating issues that may significantly impact safety, production, or equipment reliability.
Measures of Success
Success in this role is measured by the safe and effective execution of maintenance activities that maximize equipment reliability and support production objectives. Key indicators include equipment uptime, timely completion of preventive maintenance, quality of repairs, reduced equipment
downtime, work order completion, safety performance, technical leadership, employee development, and effective collaboration with production and support teams. Success is also demonstrated through continuous improvement, accurate maintenance documentation, and proactive problem solving.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in a related field
Minimum of two years experience in troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of
equipment.
Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good hearing and ability to see well (use of corrective hearing aids or lenses allowed)
Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.)
Basic math skills
Reading skills (Basic instructional and technical information)

An acceptable combination of education and experience
Functional & Cognitive Requirements of Position
This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree.
Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or
pull up to 100 pounds.
Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities.
Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed.
This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions.

decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete
