Caring for woman of Indian ethnicity - fluent in English and Hindi (bonus if you speak or understand, but not a requirement!) she has moderate Alzheimer's so experience would be a plus. Help with showering, meals, dressing, everyday ADLs. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation! Must be CHHA certified in NJ.
Responsibilities
- Light cleaning and Laundry
- ADL's
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for enjoyment and daily enrichment.
Qualifications
- LICENSED IN NEW JERSEY - CHHA
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
- Take pride in providing high quality care
