Occupational Therapist – Vision Rehabilitation -- Per Diem
MAB Community Services is seeking a compassionate and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our Vision Rehabilitation team. This unique community-based position serves individuals experiencing vision loss. Services are provided in clients homes and focus on maximizing independence, safety, and quality of life.
What Youll Do
- Conduct functional, vision rehabilitation, and home safety assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
- Provide training in compensatory strategies, low-vision techniques, and independent living skills
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete required clinical documentation and care coordination

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Two years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience with vision/low-vision rehabilitation, home health, or community-based rehabilitation preferred
