HR Analytics Intern (Part-Time)

MAB Community Services is seeking a detail-oriented HR Analytics Intern to support our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate who enjoys working with data and wants hands-on experience using analytics to support strategic HR decisions.
The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft Power BI , advanced Excel skills, and an interest in workforce analytics, budgeting, and reporting. You will help transform HR data into meaningful dashboards and reports that support organizational decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and visual reports.
- Analyze workforce data, including overtime, staffing levels, longevity, turnover, vacancies, recruitment metrics, and labor costs.
- Assist with budget tracking and workforce planning reports.
- Compile and analyze HR and Talent Acquisition data from multiple sources.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
- Create reports and presentations for HR leadership and executive teams.
- Ensure data accuracy and assist with ongoing data validation.
- Support special HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI to create dashboards and visualizations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HR IS or payroll systems.
- Familiarity with workforce analytics or financial reporting.
