About this role
This short-term co-op opportunity (3-4 weeks) is designed for students currently enrolled in a provincially accredited automotive program to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills for a successful career in the automotive industry. During the co-op term, students will work alongside experienced technicians, perform basic repairs, and gain better understanding of repairing a Tesla, providing a strong foundation for future career growth.
- Work along side Tesla trained technicians performing a variety of vehicle repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Execute basic repair work on Tesla products
- Operate a variety of high-quality hand, power, and shop tools
- Accurately document repairs and inspect and maintain shop equipment, requesting replacements as necessary
- Confirmation of enrollment in a provincially accredited automotive program
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies, innovate, follow instructions attentively, and effectively manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Evidence of a "safety first" attitude
- Ability to apply basic understanding of electrical principles assisting in diagnostics and repairs, along with a foundational understanding of vehicle systems including but not limited to infotainment, suspension, HVAC, and brakes
- Basic command of the English language
- Proficiency in fundamental computer skills, including web browsing and standard applications such as Excel and Word
- Valid driver's license preferred

Expected Compensation $25.00 - $25.00 + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
