Video and Event Production Associate

Note: This is a Boston-based in person role with occasional work from home depending on project needs. In addition, this role includes domestic travel and occasional international travel to manage events and productions.

Join the team behind Liberty Mutual’s state-of-the-art video and event production studio. We’re looking for a hands-on production generalist who’s passionate about making videos, learning new production technologies, and producing videos and live events.

In this role, you’ll have several different responsibilities in the video and event production environment. We’re looking for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and assist by operating a camera, rig lighting, ingest media, edit basic videos, operate our LED volume wall, work with gen AI tools, and run small in-person, hybrid and virtual meetings. Responsibilities

- Support and produce projects from concept to delivery by managing timelines, generating and gathering assets, engaging appropriate personnel, and collaborating with the extended Enterprise Creative team.
- Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and other creatives to bring ideas to life, pitching in wherever needed.
- Learn production software and hardware technologies like Resolume and StypeLand for LED volume wall, gen AI tools, audio consoles, video switchers, and more.
- Create video content utilizing gear ranging from professional cameras to mobile phone cameras to shoot and Adobe Creative Cloud to edit.
- Support and produce hybrid and virtual events by coordinating logistics, operating Zoom and graphics machines, engaging appropriate personnel when necessary, and overseeing execution to ensure a great viewer experience.
- Work as part of a collaborative, integrated team on multiple video and/or event projects at once.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications (or other relevant field of study), and a minimum of 5 years of experience in video and event production environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Requires knowledge of the production studio environment; HD/4k/8k video production, signal routing, and equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of the principles of video and event production,
- Hands-on video editing capabilities and knowledge of editing techniques.
- Strong consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, judgment, and the ability to work effectively with client and other systems technical staff, consultants, and vendors.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision; highly self-motivated with strong ownership, time management, and follow-through to drive tasks and projects to completion.
- Software/hardware requirements: Adobe Creative Suite, Canon C300, Red Raptor, Zoom, Teams, Windows OS, Mac OS.
- Additional skills: GrandMA, Unreal, Runway.ml, Firefly
- Ability & willingness to travel.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
