Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an IT Integration Engineer Principal, you will serve as a key technical leader responsible for architecting and enhancing enterprise-level applications that directly support clinical and revenue cycle management workflows. You will act as a primary subject matter expert, overseeing the design, implementation, and quality assurance of complex integration solutions. By aligning technical strategies with organizational goals, you will ensure that our EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) ecosystems are robust, scalable, and optimized to meet the evolving needs of our end-users and healthcare business stakeholders.
Every day you will provide high-level technical guidance and oversight to software engineering teams, acting as the ultimate escalation point for complex troubleshooting and incident resolution. You will balance multiple enterprise-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables adhere to strict timelines and budget constraints. Your role will involve constant collaboration with cross-functional teams, authoring enterprise policies and guidelines, and staying at the forefront of emerging healthcare technologies to drive continuous improvement across our integrated platforms.
To be successful in this role, you will possess deep technical expertise in software design and EAI frameworks, coupled with the leadership skills necessary to mentor and develop engineering talent. You will be a strategic thinker who can navigate complex technical landscapes and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. Success is defined by your ability to lead large-scale integration programs, manage enterprise-level incidents, and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the integration team.
- Lead Complex Integrations: Direct large-scale Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) teams and oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of mission-critical healthcare projects.
- Technical Strategy & Innovation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies and solutions to support clinical and revenue cycle management product lines.
- Expert Troubleshooting: Act as the primary escalation point for highly complex software failures, performing root-cause analysis and resolving enterprise-level major incidents.
- Governance & Standardization: Author and maintain enterprise policies, procedures, and coding guidelines to ensure high-quality software delivery and architectural integrity.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical mentorship to engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring the team maintains subject matter expertise across multiple platforms.
- Stakeholder & Project Oversight: Coordinate multiple enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring all integration deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Job Requirements
Required
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Bachelors Other in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline
- or equivalent experience
- Broad experience with server, infrastructure architecture and application design
- Leading architectural design of large enterprise initiatives
- A record of partnering with Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle Management Senior leadership
Preferred
- Experience working with HL7, HIPAA transactions sets, and EDI engines is highly
