Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems within a manufacturing environment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility/building systems

- Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement corrective actions

- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to established schedules

- Replace worn or defective parts and ensure equipment operates efficiently

- Test equipment after maintenance to verify proper operation

- Identify recurring equipment malfunctions and communicate recommended corrective actions to supervisors

- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation

- Perform basic three-phase electrical troubleshooting

- Utilize mechanical skills, including basic machine shop and welding skills when required

- Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment downtime

- Follow all safety, OSHA, and company policies

- Maintain compliance with applicable GMP and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

- High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma required

- 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician preferred

- Experience in a pharmaceutical or solid dosage manufacturing environment preferred

- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment preferred

- Facility maintenance background is a plus

- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

- Basic knowledge of three-phase electrical systems

- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational equipment issues

- Basic machine shop and welding skills preferred

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong math and reading comprehension skills

- Verbal and written English communication skills

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary

- Ability to lift equipment parts and tools as required

- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed

- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime and shift transitions when required

Work Environment

- Manufacturing environment involving solid dosage/capsule production

- Exposure to mechanical equipment, noise, and moving parts

- Must follow GMP, safety, and regulatory compliance standards at all times
