About this role
Description
Are you someone who thrives on keeping things organized while building meaningful connections with people? As a Recruiting Coordinator I at Amazon, you will play a vital role in shaping the candidate experience by managing the logistics that power our hiring processes. You will coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and partner with recruiters and hiring teams to ensure every step runs smoothly. This is an opportunity to grow your career in human resources while making a tangible impact on how Amazon attracts and hires talent. If you are a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys collaborating with others and solving problems in real time, this role is for you.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones, balancing the availability of candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers to ensure a seamless experience.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, guiding them on what to expect, answering questions, and building trusted relationships that reflect Amazon's commitment to a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring teams to manage workflows, track scheduling metrics, and troubleshoot issues as they arise, escalating roadblocks when appropriate.
- Leverage generative artificial intelligence tools and recruiting technologies to streamline coordination tasks, improve data accuracy, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation for scheduling procedures and operational best practices, training new team members as they join.
A day in the life
You will start your morning reviewing your scheduling queue, confirming interview panels, and sending preparation materials to candidates. Throughout the day, you will partner closely with recruiters to adjust schedules, resolve last-minute changes, and ensure every candidate feels informed and supported. Between coordination tasks, you may analyze scheduling data to spot trends or draft process documentation that helps your team work more efficiently. You will wrap up by following up on open items and preparing for the next round of interviews.
