Configuration Specialist IV

Pay Range: $96,000 - $125,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications

Location : North Venice, FL 34275

Please note that this is not a remote/hybrid position. You will be working from our North Venice, FL location.

Responsibilities

The Configuration Specialist IV provides senior-level ownership for complex configuration, product knowledge, pricing, quoting, EDI, and integration work across MITER, including Vendo and related external quoting systems. This role supports new brands and product lines, pricing structure changes, product knowledge releases, custom code updates, external system mappings, and production impacting configuration needs. The Level IV scope provides the technical depth, independent decision making, and team guidance needed to improve order accuracy, strengthen internal capability, and reduce reliance on vendor support.

- Creates and maintains new product lines and pricing structures across Miter Brands.

- Performs additions and changes to OneLink custom code using VB.NET programming.

- Creates and maintains mappings from external quoting systems, including EDI processing and maintenance.

- Collaborates with business analysts, manufacturing, engineering, code compliance, and IT teams to align product, compliance, and production requirements with configuration and product knowledge updates.

- Manages product knowledge (PK) catalog publishing to external customer systems and supports recurring OneLink PK releases.

- Manages quoting tool upgrades, including product knowledge and software upgrades, database maintenance, archiving of old product knowledge, and creation and maintenance of OneLink installers.

- Provides guidance and technical support to internal teams and external customers for quoting, catalog, and product knowledge related configuration needs.

- Provides assistance and guidance to Configuration Technicians and Configuration Specialists I, II, and III as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field, or   equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Configuration Specialist position or equivalent configuration, product knowledge, quoting tool, ERP/CPQ, or manufacturing systems role.
- Advanced knowledge of PGT and MI Brands, OneLink where applicable, product knowledge structures, pricing configuration, and external quoting system integrations.
- Working knowledge of VB.NET programming to perform basic custom code additions and changes.
- Advanced knowledge of window and door products, manufacturing processes, BOM structures, EDI, fabrication equipment support, and production-facing configuration requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and provide guidance to lower-level Configuration team members.

- Advanced experience in configuration, product knowledge, quoting, pricing, ERP/CPQ, EDI, or manufacturing-facing systems supporting MITER.

- Experience with OneLink, PK catalog publishing, scheduled product knowledge releases, external customer system support, and cross-functional issue resolution.

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex configuration issues, coordinate across business and technical teams, and guide lower-level Configuration resources.
- Willing to travel domestically up to 10%
