As a Steward, you will play a supporting our kitchen and service teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Assist with unloading deliveries and proper storage of supplies.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to company and health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff by preparing basic tasks such as sorting and organizing ingredients.
- Monitor dishwashing machines and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory checks and communicate shortages to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in food service.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions independently.
