OPEN JOB: RN Nurse Manager – Surgery (Main OR)
LOCATION: Santa Rosa, California
BASE SALARY: $167,974 to $265,150
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Experience working in an RN hospital leadership role, such as Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manage
- At least two (2) years of experience working as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in an acute care hospital setting
- The salary range is very wide and salary would be dependent on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurse Manager - MAIN OR. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care.
- Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population.
- Oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.
- Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated and met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
- 2 years of recent clinical experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in nursing
- Upon hire: Specialty certificate based on unit
- 5 years of clinical experience
- 2 years of management experience
