Under directions from the Facilities Operations Director, the Maintenance Worker ensures the building is safety compliant, clean and all necessary precautions are taken to keep the building as effective for production as possible.

How You’ll Help

- Inspect, operate, or test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools; request welding repairs and reassemble equipment as needed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of machines and building systems, preventing deterioration.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other machinery components.
- Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other building structures.
- Check lights, plumbing, and restroom supplies in both office and warehouse spaces.
- Inspect for any bug issues in office areas.
- Check for roof leaks in warehouse and office spaces.
- Inspect dock doors, levelers, and shipping office equipment in the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift chargers and lifts, and review operator daily reports; address any issues or contact vendors for unresolved problems.
- Ensure all man doors are functioning properly.
- Check raisers and monitor pressure gauges.
- Ensure flags at all buildings are displayed correctly and lowered to half-staff when directed.
- Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs or suppliers, or obtain from storerooms.
- Maintain logs of inspections, repairs, and supply inventories.
- Other related duties as may be required.

Your Skills & Experience:

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Skilled in diagnosing and fixing equipment or building issues, using both hand and power tools as needed.
- Proficient in performing routine maintenance and cleaning to keep machinery and facilities running smoothly.
- Experienced in minor repairs like painting, roofing, and fixing structural components (doors, windows, floors, drywall).
- Able to monitor facility essentials such as lighting, plumbing, restroom supplies, pest control, leaks, and warehouse equipment.
- Competent in ensuring safety checks, managing inventory, ordering parts, and keeping detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Knowledgeable about proper flag display procedures across all company buildings.
- Ability and willingness to travel upto 25% as required.
