Job Description

The Digital Solutions Technical Director is responsible for leading application development, database management, automation, and enterprise modernization initiatives. This role provides technical architecture, development oversight, and hands-on solution delivery supporting Power Platform, data integration, workflow automation, reporting, and digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications and automated workflows.
- Architect Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain databases, APIs, integrations, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Oversee application modernization and system integration efforts.
- Establish coding standards, development governance, and technical documentation.
- Support cybersecurity requirements and secure application development practices.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the development team.
- Support AI, machine learning, chatbot, and automation initiatives where applicable.
- Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and compliant with government requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, or related field and 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Technical Certification such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of application development and database management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of automation, dashboard development, and workflow implementation experience.
- Experience supporting DHS, DoD, or Coast Guard programs.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP Certification
- Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
- Azure Development or Architecture Certifications.
- Experience developing enterprise solutions in secure federal environments. 
- Knowledge of system integration, APIs, data architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
