About the role
As our Audience Category Manager, you'll help shape our audience and category ambitions, plans & strategies across the LEGO® Retail business through data & insights, strategic planning and category management principles. You'll turn complex data into actionable recommendations, support our integrated commercial planning (ICP) process, and influence decision-making across multiple audience groups and product categories. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to future product portfolio up to two years before it goes to market while still actively contributing to business performance in year withing the LEGO Group's branded retail channels.

Required Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience in category management, business insights, planning or relevant consulting/business development roles
- Proven track record working in a global business with strong multi-cultural teams, fostering strong relationships, team spirit and culture
- Advanced analytical skills, data-driven way of working, solution-driven and result-oriented
- Comfortable building models through Excel, sourcing relevant data sets and insights to improve projections to support forecasting, planning or commercial decision-making
- Extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. You must have a commercial mindset and comprehension of marketing and sales principles
- Strong influencer and natural collaborator, comfortable presenting to a senior stakeholder audience
- Comfortable presenter, able to tell a compelling story thorough rigorous data and insights
- A passion for working in retail at one of the world’s most loved brands, here at the LEGO Group
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with corporate data platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Databricks or Adobe Analytics to generate business insights, building customised reports and dashboards
- Broad knowledge of merchandising and retail supply and operations topics and good knowledge of other functional areas involved in the Category processes
- End-to-End understanding of the product creation process to support the Product Development teams with relevant metrics and insights

You'll join the Category Management & Promotions team within Retail & Experience Marketing. We're responsible for helping create the strongest possible shopper value proposition across product categories and audiences. The team works closely together and partners with audience owners, promotions, membership, demand planning and commercial teams. You'll be encouraged to learn, share ideas and grow your expertise while working in a hybrid rhythm that balances collaboration and flexibility. Strategic thinking, problem solving, learning agility, influencing others and clear storytelling are all part of how we work every day.
What success looks like
Success means becoming a trusted owner of audience performance reporting and audience growth modelling. You'll help strengthen audience planning capabilities, improve category and audience performance tracking, and support future portfolio launches and commercial planning cycles. Working closely with Senior Category Managers, Demand Planning, Global Commercial Development and Portfolio Development teams, you'll be recognised for providing insights that help shape better business decisions and drive sustainable growth.
