Content Developer (Media & E-Learning Specialist)
Role Type: Visual Media & Production Specialist (Behind-the-Screen)
Position Summary
The Content Developer is a dedicated, behind-the-screen media production specialist responsible for bringing instructional outlines to life. Working strictly in production, this role transforms curriculum outlines into visually captivating, brand-compliant e-learning assets and modules using tools like Articulate Rise 360 and Canva. This position focuses purely on graphic formatting, layout optimization, and multimedia integration, with no LMS administrative or classroom teaching duties.
Key Responsibilities
- E-Learning Module Production: Convert Instructional Designer outlines and storyboards into interactive e-learning modules using Articulate Rise 360 and other e-learning development programs and tools.
- Visual Design & Asset Creation: Utilize custom graphics, banners, infographics, and visual elements in Canva (or Adobe Suite) following brand guidelines.
- Layout & UI/UX Optimization: Optimize course layouts, visual hierarchy, and formatting for maximum learner engagement and visual clarity.
- Multimedia Integration: Edit and embed graphic assets, micro-videos, audio clips, and interactive elements into online training assets.
- Handoff to LMS: Deliver finalized, export-ready course packages (e.g., SCORM) to the LMS Clerk for technical upload and QA.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of graphic design, e-learning production, or digital content creation experience.
- Core Tools: Advanced proficiency in Articulate Rise 360 and Canva (Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus).
- Skills: Visual storytelling, eye for typography/layout, strict adherence to brand standards, high attention to visual detail.
