At Linwood Center, were looking for a Business Director to oversee the business and operational functions that support our programs, employees, and the individuals we serve. This is a key leadership role with a broad view of the organization—from facilities and purchasing to vendor relationships, safety, risk management, contracts, and special projects.

What Youll Do

As Business Director, youll provide leadership and oversight across a wide range of business and operational functions, including:

- Oversee the day-to-day business and operational needs of the Center

- Provide leadership and direction for facilities, maintenance, housekeeping, food service, purchasing, safety, risk management, and other operational functions

- Supervise and support the Facilities Manager and maintenance staff

- Partner with the CFO and Executive Director to evaluate business operations and recommend improvements

- Manage relationships and contracts with vendors, insurance carriers, and other external partners

- Oversee purchasing activities and ensure purchasing practices align with organizational policies

- Support facilities and operational needs across Linwoods programs and services

- Serve as a resource and provide operational leadership when the Facilities Manager is unavailable

- Represent Linwood in the community and help build relationships with other organizations and agencies

- Participate in marketing and business development activities that support organizational growth and revenue opportunities

- Lead and coordinate special projects from planning through completion

- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and organizational operations

Qualifications

What You Bring

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration required

- At least 10 years of successful professional experience

- Strong knowledge of management and supervisory practices

- Experience with budgeting and financial management

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

- Ability to effectively use office and accounting software

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with staff, families, community partners, and other professionals

- A flexible, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
