POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Engineer assists with both the operational and financial management of engineering, fabrication and operations of gas turbines, gas turbine packages and their ancillary equipment. This position will also assist in the design, fabrication and testing of new products such as reciprocating engine packages and battery energy storage systems. The role is a dynamic mix of technical expertise, project management, and strategic leadership, aimed at the cost-effective delivery of innovative products that drive company success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Project manage the engineering and manufacturing of new equipment and upgrades.
- Communicate and interface with other functional groups within the network of internal companies including Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Field Support as needed.
- Maintain schedule to assure on time deliveries.
- Perform essential reviews of new and old designs and related equipment.
- Manage the modifications and upgrades of existing equipment.
- Red line engineered drawings where applicable.
- Evaluate new products and new product implementation.
- Aid operations with installation and commissioning of newly designed gas turbine packages and other equipment.
- Be the liaison between shop personnel and engineering.
- Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace.
- Evaluate operational readiness of newly designed gas turbine packages and related equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.
- Valid U.S. Drivers License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
- Proficiency in spoken English language.
- Ability to travel based on business needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energies or related field required.
- Minimum 10+ years experience in engineering and project management of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Background in Power Generation, LNG, or Oil & Gas preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and PFDs.
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Clear and concise ability to articulate ideas.
- Proficient in cultivating meaningful and productive relationships, emphasizing interpersonal understanding and collaboration.
- Strong comprehension of business principles and strategies enabling informed decision making
- Substantial experience in managing operations in the relevant field ensuring effective coordination and workflow.
- Must excel in matrix and startup-oriented environments and exhibit qualities of self-motivation and innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees are frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat or kneel. The employee works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk while typing on a computer, whether in a home office, corporate office, client office, or jobsite. The employee must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. When required to visit a wellsite, the work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio levels up to 85 dB, inclement weather, and extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). Given these conditions, employees visiting a pad site are required to wear company-mandated and company-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and impact gloves, and must strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Employees must be able to independently lift 25 lbs.
Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
