Practice Area

The Risk & Compliance Practice provides strategic, transformational and technical offerings in risk and compliance. We take a comprehensive view which enables us to help our clients grow their businesses while staying ahead of key risks, anticipating regulatory shifts, and instilling ethical practices. Our offerings include, but also extend beyond: Compliance and Crisis Management, Cyber and Digital Risk, Credit Risk Management, Balance Sheet Optimization, Market & Commodity Risk, ESG, Risk Org, Ops and Operational Risk, and Supply Chain Risk.

What You'll Do

As a Project Leader within BCG’s Risk & Compliance Practice, you will be a core member of our London team working alongside some of the world’s top minds in the industry. You will accompany companies in the financial institutions and adjacent sectors through decisive changes, driving impact at a strategic level.

On a day-to-day basis, this will translate in:

- Leading case execution and bringing deep expertise to projects for our key clients in the UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Belgium markets.
- Playing a pivotal role in expanding and shaping our Risk & Compliance footprint in London and the wider UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Belgium markets.
- Originating and shaping new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong (senior) client relationships, particularly in the financial institutions sector.
- Advising clients on a wide range of risk and compliance topics, including risk strategy, regulatory transformation, credit, and other non-financial risks.
- Contributing to global and regional content development, thought leadership, and intellectual property creation within the practice.
- Collaborating with diverse teams of BCG colleagues with various backgrounds and client stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing consultants and associates to ensure their continuous growth.

What You'll Bring

- At least 7 years of consulting and/or industry experience, with a strong track record in risk and compliance.
- Extensive expertise in the financial services sector (e.g., banking, asset management, insurance), with a proven track record of advising senior stakeholders on regulatory, compliance, and risk transformations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights. Strong fluency in applying AI tools to project delivery.
- Recognized as an active contributor to the industry through thought leadership, publications, or participation in professional forums.
- Excellent academic record; fluency in English is required, additional European language(s) are an advantage.
- Flexible, curious, and creative, with the ability to challenge the status quo, help clients understand the implications of risk and compliance and propose innovative ideas.
- Willingness to travel according to business requirements.
