Project Accountant (Accounts Payable)
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support billing, accounts payable, and project accounting functions for a growing construction organization. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, managing project-related billing, and supporting job cost accounting within a construction environment.
### Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and posting Prepare and manage project billing, including AIA and T&M invoicing Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain billing records and project documentation Work closely with Project Managers to support project financial activities Assist with job cost reporting and cost tracking Monitor outstanding invoices and support collections efforts Manage subcontractor documentation, lien waivers, and related records Process payroll-related documentation and certified payroll reports as needed Utilize accounting and construction management software to maintain accurate records
### Qualifications
2+ years of Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, or Construction Accounting experience Construction industry experience strongly preferred Experience with project billing, job costing, and invoice processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications Experience with Vista Viewpoint or Vista Construction Management Software preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
