Load Planner 4 (Edwardsville, KS)

Job Details:

SUMMARY : This position is responsible for the following:

- Maintain orderly and accurate flow of trailers and shipping orders throughout the shipping system.
- Performs all duties in an efficient orderly manner to obtain the desired and expected load out goals and deadline departure times, as set forth by management and scheduling.
- Communicate with the traffic department.
- Perform all PC terminal functions.
- Prepare paperwork neatly and accurately; communicate with scheduling.
- Other duties as required.
- Must be willing to cross train and be developed in other areas and departments.

B Shift : Sunday - Tuesday (6PM to 6AM) & Wednesday (6PM to midnight).

REQUIREMENTS :

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 2 years experience with Forward Warehouse Material Handling TCCS or PBX function.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate using radio telephone e-mail and person to person.

Special Skills: Understanding of all business factors impacting warehouse planning decision making.

Travel: Minimal
