Business Development Intern
Position Summary
The Sales Intern will support the Sales team in driving customer engagement, lead generation, account management, and business development initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in sales operations, customer relationship management, market research, and sales strategy while developing strong professional communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
• Assist with prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Research potential customers and industries to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system.
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and customer-facing materials.
• Support the sales team with follow-up communications and appointment scheduling.

Market Research
• Conduct competitor and market analysis.
• Identify industry trends and customer needs.
• Assist in gathering and organizing customer feedback.

Customer Engagement
• Participate in customer meetings and sales calls when appropriate.
• Assist in developing proposals and sales presentations.
• Support customer relationship-building efforts.

Administrative Support
• Maintain accurate sales records and documentation.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and account management activities.
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn about sales and business development.
