Position summary: The Regional Development and Donor Engagement Manager plays a vital role in advancing Every Child's Hope's mission by securing philanthropic support and building meaningful relationships throughout eastern Missouri. This position develops, implements, and executes comprehensive fundraising and donor engagement strategies to increase revenue, diversify funding sources, and strengthen community investment in ECH's programs and services. The Manager serves as an ambassador for Every Child's Hope, cultivating relationships with individual donors, corporations, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with Development, Marketing, and Program leadership to help tell the ECH story, connecting donors to the mission, and inspiring philanthropic support that transforms the lives of children and families served.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute strategic fundraising and donor engagement plans to achieve annual revenue goals and expand philanthropic support throughout the assigned region.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, corporations, civic organizations, and community partners.
- Build and manage a robust portfolio of current and prospective donors through meaningful, personalized outreach, donor meetings, and stewardship activities to grow the donor pipeline.
- Implement donor recognition and stewardship strategies designed to strengthen donor relationships and improve retention rates.
- Utilize donor data, engagement activity tracking and fundraising metrics to monitor progress, evaluate effectiveness, and inform future engagement strategies.
- Utilizing innovative and creative strategies to grow the agencys base of donors and achieve annual fundraising revenue goals.
- Represent Every Child's Hope as a visible and enthusiastic ambassador at community events, networking opportunities, speaking engagements, and regional meetings.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships that increase awareness, engagement, volunteerism, and philanthropic support for ECH.
- Coordinate and execute fundraising, stewardship, and community engagement events in collaboration with the Development team.
- Engage sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners in event planning and participation to maximize impact and revenue.
- Collaborate with grants management staff to identify regional funding opportunities and support the development of compelling proposals.
- Complete required trauma-informed care training and consistently demonstrate a trauma-responsive approach when interacting with youth, families, donors, volunteers, and colleagues.
- Effective supervision of the Event and Volunteer Services Coordinator.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications must include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
- 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising and development required.
- Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship-building activities preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve measurable goals.
- Experience with donor database systems, preferably Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT or similar CRM platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor meetings, community events, and fundraising activities.
- Ability to lift and transport event materials and supplies as needed.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned service region and occasionally throughout the state.
Position Location:
This is an onsite position at the main campus in St. Louis County, with periodic travel to other agency locations throughout the state.
