Roastery Operations: Delivery Driver/Production Assistant

Description:

- Load, transport and deliver orders to Rival Bros cafe locations locally as well as wholesale accounts and suppliers within the PA, NJ, DE tristate area where necessary in a safe and timely manner

- Basic delivery vehicle maintenance including maintaining adequate tire pressures, fluid levels etc and communicating needed service when due (oil changes/inspections etc) or flagging any issues that may arise.

- Confidently and professionally represent Rival Bros on deliveries, among accounts.

- Maintain a clean and a presentable workspace

- Comply with all food safety protocols.

- Jump in where needed to help keep the team and production operation moving

- Assist in cleaning and upkeep of ALL equipment and facilities (from the heavy machinery to dumpsters and everything in between)

- Perform all duties with professionalism, positivity, transparency, and respect.

- Potential for this role to develop into a full time position.

Requirements:

- Must be available for 25hrs a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday

- Enthusiasm and hustle to learn and grow as an individual and as a member of the team

- Flexibility and adaptability to a growing business and innovation

- Has a valid Driver’s license and safe driving record

- Experience with and confidence driving a passenger van (or larger) in city and highway settings

- Team player mindset

- Must be able to lift 75lbs solo and 150lbs team effort

- Stand for long periods of time, most of the shift is spent standing

- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects and materials
