Position Summary
The Baker prepares bakery products according to Perkins recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. This role helps ensure excellent food quality, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and bake bakery items according to company recipes and standards.
• Label, date, store, and rotate products using FIFO procedures.
• Set up and maintain bakery display cases and merchandising displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery equipment, prep areas, storage areas, and displays.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and food safety standards.
• Assist with kitchen prep, dishwashing, and supporting front-of-house team members as needed.
• Communicate equipment, safety, or product concerns to management.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications
• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, and work in hot and cold environments.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
