What you will do

The Business Analyst IV will support the design and development of business intelligence, data engineering, and analytic solutions, tools, and products. This person will bring solid working knowledge of analytics, the Power BI platform, and BI best practices, and will contribute to complex, enterprise projects under the guidance of senior team members.

As a Business Analyst IV on the team, you will participate in data discovery, dashboard development, and analytics delivery across the organization. In this role, you will support multiple phases of the solution lifecycle and work closely with other teams, departments, and stakeholders.

The Business Analyst IV will contribute to projects utilizing multiple tools and technologies to deliver quality products such as ad-hoc data discovery requests, dashboards and scorecards, forecasting models, and automated reporting solutions. This person should be comfortable building their own visualizations using DAX and Power BI, and writing SQL queries to pull their own data.

How you will do it

- Develop working knowledge of data domains in order to support the business with data solutions and BI best practices, utilizing Power BI.
- Build relationships to understand the needs of internal customers across business domains to help provide insights that support decisions.
- Collaborate with and learn from senior teammates on analytical modeling, BI best practices, and methodologies.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and business partners in an Agile work methodology.
- Support the design and development of tools and products that bring analytic methods and models to the analytics team and customers.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Contribute to scalable deliverables such as scorecards and dashboards using Power BI and other data visualization tools for organizational metrics and KPIs.
- Perform ad-hoc exploratory data analysis.
- Assist in gathering business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, document analysis, and user story workshops.
- Support statistical analysis, analytical data models, and decision models that relate operational activities to results.
- Understand data standards and help identify data abnormalities, supporting data quality across delivered solutions.

What we look for

Required

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related business analyst or data/reporting analyst role.
- Working knowledge of Power BI dashboard development.
- Experience with DAX, Power Query/M, and SQL language.
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud database platforms.
- Exposure to the Microsoft analytics stack (SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL and T-SQL).
- Experience utilizing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Github Copilot, and Claude to enhance BI development and delivery.

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance.  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
