Are you a Virginia-licensed or provisionally licensed counselor looking for a role where you can grow your clinical skills and make a meaningful impact?

At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient , you'll join a close-knit clinical team providing substance use disorder treatment in a collaborative environment. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients through individual, family, and group therapy while building valuable experience toward your professional goals.

What You'll Do

- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services

- Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and other treatment needs

- Develop and support individualized treatment goals

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers

- Participate in aftercare planning and continuity of care

- Provide documentation needed for utilization review

- Support clients through challenging moments and provide crisis intervention when needed

- Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned

- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team

Your Credentials Matter Here

Required: Master's degree in human services or a related field from an accredited college AND one of the following Virginia credentials:

- CSAC-S

- Resident in Counseling

- Supervisee in Social Work

- LSATP

- LPC

- LCSW

Position Details

📍 6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA
💰 $61,000–$70,000/year , based on education and experience
🗓️ Full-time | Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
🏥 In-person
📅 Holidays as needed; some weekend work
