Job Description Summary:
Cambridge Associates’ Investment Strategy Research team produces a wide variety of research publications on investment and financial topics. Members of the project management team are responsible for managing all publications on the schedule, leading initial meetings of project teams to determine responsibilities and publication timing, coordinating the editorial process, editing and proofreading papers as they are finalized, formatting publications, and posting and distributing publications. We are currently seeking candidates with proven project management experience and demonstrated expertise in proofreading and publication formatting to fill one primarily virtual position on the project management team.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

·       Manage the publication process for a wide variety of research publications and presentations: develop calendar of interim and final report deadlines, communicate regularly with publication authors and other contributors, and ensure that relevant parties are aware of a publication’s progress.

·       Edit—both developmental and copyedit—research reports and other materials (including presentations, charts, and tables) to match CA style guidelines and to ensure use of proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

·       Collaborate with data proofers to ensure publications meet CA’s data standards and with compliance, when necessary, to meet the legal requirements for sharing publicly.

·       Format research publications in InDesign and PowerPoint to adhere to CA brand guidelines and improve clarity and readability for our diverse audience.

·       Write short summaries of reports for use in a variety of collateral materials (website, newsletter, etc.).

·       Assist team in preparing email campaigns highlighting research publications for internal and client audiences on a weekly basis

·       Maintain organized files of publication edits, post reports to internal and client websites, and properly archive reports once completed.

·       Respond to internal and client questions regarding research schedule, file locations, and other matters.

·       Identify opportunities to use AI tools to streamline editorial workflows and improve team efficiency in accordance with CA policies and guidelines.

·       Support team operations by scheduling meetings, coordinating coverage for subject matter experts, and preparing weekly content digests

·       Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·       BA/BS degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in proofreading and editing.

·       Experience managing complex projects with many stakeholders and bringing them to successful completion.

·       Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and prior experience using Adobe InDesign or a similar product to lay out publications and WordPress or a similar product to post publications.

·       Strong written and oral communications skills.

·       Exceptional proofreading skills; careful attention to quality and detail.

·       Ability to exercise good judgment; trustworthy; discrete; organized.

·       Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

·       Ability to adapt well to last-minute changes and work well under deadline-driven pressure.

·       Ability to balance time between multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and quality of publications.

·       Familiarity with investment terms and concepts a plus.

·       All candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Base salary range for this role:

Pay Range Minimum:
66800
Pay Range Maximum:
86800

In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
