SALARY RANGE: $60K - $80K

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Primary responsibly to create, administer and collect an annual loan portfolio marketed to our farmer customers. The position will require promoting the annual program to our internal sales teams as well as direct contact with our farmer customers. Expectations would be to work closely with our partners at Growmark and Cooperative Finance Association ( CFA) to help in the administration und ultimate collection of loans. This position will also work alongside our Crop Insurance team and help promote our insurance products when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Works directly with South Central Marketing team to develop annual Ag Finance programs that help support the sales of products and services throughout the company.

- Analyzes customer credit worthiness through loan application data, credit scoring systems, balance sheet reviews and local knowledge of our farmer customers.

- Supports the Risk management administrative staff with loan creation, monthly loan draws and final collection of loans.

- Travels throughout company territory assisting crop specialist in their understanding and support of the Ag finance program.

- Works directly with loan portfolio customers to promote, sell, educate and collect on annual loans

- Works closely with the SCFS credit department in overall credit administration of trade accounts receivable and annual loan program.

- Regularly reports to the credit committee on the quantity, quality and overall status of loan program

- Collaborates with outside entities in the collection of loans namely, CFA, Growmark, other banking institution and attorneys,

- Attends meetings and works with other Growmark members to promote the system wide growth of Ag-finance.

- Develops a knowledge base of all products & services we have to offer

- Generally promotes the use of credit programs as a sales tool and helps provide the required information to establish credit.

- Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicle according to company standards.

- Wears required company uniform and maintains a clean professional appearance.

- Attends all required meetings and training programs.

- Ability to travel independently and overnight as needed. Travel >60%

- Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.

- All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a college degree in either finance, accounting or Ag-business. Looking for at least 3 years business experience in either Ag Retail or Credit administration.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
