Senior Compliance Engineer

InVue is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Engineer to support the growing compliance and regulatory needs of our global product development organization. Based in Shenzhen/Dongguan, China , you’ll help ensure InVue products meet global regulatory, safety, and industry standards throughout the design and manufacturing process.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with Engineering, Quality, Legal, suppliers, and certification agencies. You’ll provide technical guidance, lead compliance testing and certification efforts, and help teams identify and address compliance requirements early in the product development process.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, move quickly, manage changing priorities, and use sound judgment to solve complex compliance challenges.

What You’ll Do

- Interpret and apply global regulatory requirements and standards, including ISO, IEC, FCC, UL, CE, and CB .
- Provide technical leadership to Engineering and Product Development teams to build compliance into the design process.
- Lead product testing, certification, validation, and documentation activities.
- Manage relationships with certification and testing agencies such as SGS, DEKRA, Intertek, UL, and TÜV .
- Monitor changes in global regulations and standards and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Develop and improve compliance processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior compliance engineers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage compliance schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets, and project status.
- Travel to suppliers, testing laboratories, and other locations as needed.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related science field with 5+ years of relevant experience , or an Associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience working with global regulatory and certification agencies.
- Strong knowledge of technical standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with CE, CB, UL, FCC and related submission processes.
- Familiarity with REACH, RoHS, PFAS, and sustainability regulations .
- Strong analytical, documentation, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Experience working effectively under tight deadlines and changing priorities .
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience with RFID, wireless, IR, or Bluetooth is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
