About this role

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Co-Op (May - Dec 2027). In this role, you will gain engineering experience by working closely with experienced engineers on a variety of renewable energy projects which may include Solar, Wind, and Battery Storage (BESS) projects throughout the US.

What You'll Do:

- Concept through final design of renewable energy projects

- Permitting support including research on local jurisdictional requirements

- CAD support utilizing Civil 3D for site plans and grading plans

- General project and office support

What You'll Need:

- Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program

- Willing to work full-time during the Fall and Winter semesters from (May - Dec 2027)

- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience a plus

- Excellent Communication skills

- Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license
