If so, Farnsworth Group is looking for our next team member to assist our Project Management team in providing our clients with exceptional design and support services.

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be a part of several project teams tasked with a supporting role to the Project Managers by overseeing and executing on a variety of necessary tasks. Successful candidates will be very detailed oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal. This position is a very “team focused", requiring the ability to work and communicate within a group environment daily.

What You'll Do

- Support PMs in development of workplans and resource planning.

- Liaise with architects, engineers, project managers, and other project team members to update project plans and help identify project issues.

- Support PMs by facilitating project setup and execution through the development, tracking, and management of online project platforms and project information, including but not limited to data management, analytics, data visualization, document control, and schedule management.

- Document control and quality assurance for a variety of complex documents.

- Manage project logs with PMs including RFI, submittals, and change orders.

- Process administrative aspects of the project management process, with minimal direction.

- Support PMs preparation for project reviews, as needed.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need

- Associates Degree in Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 3-5 years support experience, preferably with an Architectural/Engineering or legal firm

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Understanding of the Architecture/Engineering industry is preferred.

- Ability to work within a team in support of common goals.

- Flexibility to adjust between various tasks to meet PMs requests while setting and managing deadlines.

- Ability to streamline functions along with a passion to learn and grow.

- Experience utilizing enterprise resources planning software (Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint) is a plus.

- Proven communication, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Self-motivated / driven.

Position is a Salary Exempt, Full-Time. Location: Must be in Phoenix metroplex to service clients’ direct needs, preferably within 30 minutes of North Phoenix.
