The Community Investment Coordinator plays a key support role within the Community Investment team, focusing on program coordination, project implementation, operational processes, and information management to advance team priorities.

The position support Community Investment program and initiatives by maintaining project information, coordinating stakeholders, activities, communications, and logistics, monitoring timelines and deliverables, and supporting effective collaboration across teams and external partners. A key component of this role is developing a strong understanding of Community Investment programs, processes, systems, and operational needs to support consistent program delivery and successful implementation.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business management, or a related field*

- 2-3 years of experience with CRM database administration e.g. Client Relationship Management software (CRM)

- Strong computer skills, preferably with experience in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, SharePoint, Community Suite, and Adobe Acrobat

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to include strong verbal and written communication skills

- Detail oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and planning skills

- Ability and willingness to learn new systems, techniques, and procedures, as well as to make improvements to those systems

- Willingness and ability to work as a team member with colleagues and external partners, operate in varying team settings and listen with understanding

Preferred:

- Demonstrated history of effective project management from inception to implementation

- Related project management certifications (i.e. Project Management Professional-PMP, Certified Associate in Project Management-CAPM, etc.)

*A combination of relevant education and previous experience may be considered in lieu of the defined educational requirements.

Essential Functions:

- Coordinate and support Community Investment programs, initiatives, and special projects from planning through implementation. Track timelines, deliverables, and key activities to support successful execution

- Maintain project plans, calendars, tracking tools, and other resources that support program delivery, team priorities, and cross-functional coordination

- Manage program records, participant information, documentation, and resource materials to ensure accurate, organized, and accessible information

- Support participant recruitment, onboarding, communications, and engagement activities for Community Investment programs, cohorts, learning opportunities, and related initiatives

- Coordinate meetings, workshops, trainings, events, and other program activities, including scheduling, logistics, materials, and follow-up

- Maintain program and participant data, prepare reports, and support data collection, tracking, and evaluation efforts to inform decision-making and continuous improvement

- Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders to support implementation of Community Investment priorities and activities

- Monitor project progress, deadlines, and action items; identify follow-up and communicate status updates to support timely completion of work

- Develop, document, and maintain procedures, templates, tools, and other resources that improve consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness across Community Investment programs and operations

- Coordinate program-related operational and financial activities, including expense tracking, invoice processing, budget monitoring, and related administrative processes

- May be required to complete other duties within scope as assigned

Environment:

The primary work location is 1120 S. 101st Street in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is expected to work in the office with the occasional flexibility to work from home, and may travel occasionally locally for meetings, events, and community engagement.
