About this role
This role provides technical and organizational leadership across the product lifecycle, partnering closely with product management, operations, manufacturing, quality, reliability, field operations and sales to develop products that deliver reliable performance, competitive cost, manufacturability and differentiated value.
The Ideal candidate combines strong mechanical/electrical engineering fundamentals with extensive experience in ESP systems, downhole equipment, failure analysis, product development and oil field operating environments.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of engineering experience in oil and gas, artificial lift, rotating equipment or a closely related industry
- experience with electrical submersible pump systems and downhole artificial lift equipment
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects and/or engineering/technical teams
- strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals
- experience with product development and sustaining engineering
- Experience with engineering change management and configuration control
- strong experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, test data and field performance data
- some experience of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturability
