Manufacturing Business Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Manager is responsible for driving business planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives across assigned assembly plants within the Region. This role serves as a key liaison between plant leadership and the Director of Manufacturing, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities, operational scorecards, and the deployment of the Ford Production System (FPS). The Business Manager will manage the Region Business Control Center, support cost and quality objectives, and facilitate cross-functional coordination to enable sustained operational excellence.

You'll have...

- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of Significant manufacturing experience, with a strong background in assembly operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of plant operations and manufacturing processes.
- Thorough knowledge of the Ford Production System (FPS) and its core principles.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership aligned with Ford's core behaviors and values.
- Proficiency in Ford IT operating systems and standard office software applications.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
