About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced EI&C General Superintendent to provide field leadership for major advanced facility projects. This individual will oversee project execution, ensuring safety, productivity, cost control, quality, and overall operational performance.

The initial assignment will involve overseeing the completion of an advanced facility project in Rio Rancho, New Mexico , followed by a transition to a project in Phoenix, Arizona .

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale construction projects, with a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C).

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate field operations, including manpower, equipment, materials, and construction means and methods.

- Partner with Project Managers to develop and execute comprehensive construction plans.

- Oversee project scheduling and coordinate activities between internal teams and subcontractors.

- Guide project superintendents in developing efficient work sequences and maximizing productivity across all trades.

- Oversee the development and management of CPM project schedules.

- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials and equipment align with project schedules.

- Ensure timely completion of punch lists and coordinate owner-required startup and commissioning activities.

- Participate in business development initiatives, including proposals and presentations.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of prime contracts, project specifications, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and other contract documents.

- Maintain accountability for jobsite safety, costs, productivity, quality, and overall project performance.

Requirements

- 10+ years of construction project supervision experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.

- Experience working on construction projects exceeding $200 million.

- Strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) construction.

- Proven ability to oversee complex construction projects and coordinate multiple trades.

- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, procurement, project execution, and commissioning.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Demonstrated field leadership skills with a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

- Ability to work initially in Rio Rancho, NM, and subsequently transition to Phoenix, AZ.
