About this role

12Stone Church is seeking a creative and highly motivated, part-time Content Creator to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for capturing, editing, and publishing photo and video content that fuels 12Stones digital presence. Beyond production, the Content Creator will take ownership of social media platforms; helping to manage posting schedules, track engagement, and shape content strategies that reach people inside and outside the church.

This position requires a blend of technical skill, creative storytelling, and digital strategy. The ideal candidate is as comfortable behind the camera as they are behind the scenes, ensuring that the story of life change at 12Stone is told with excellence across all channels.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Photo + Video Production

- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of services, events, and ministries.

- Create optimized short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

- Manage photo/video equipment, ensuring readiness for shoots.

Social Media Ownership

- Manage posting schedules for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube under the direction of the Marketing Manager.

- Publish, monitor, and engage with content in real-time, building community on each platform.

- Track engagement metrics and provide insights to help refine future content.

- Stay on top of trends in digital storytelling, platform features, and creative best practices.

Creative Development

- Contribute ideas and storyboards for video projects, campaigns, and digital series.

- Partner with the Marketing Manager on concepts that align with 12Stones mission.

Content + Brand Management

- Maintain and organize a growing photo/video library for cross-ministry use.

- Ensure every piece of content reflects 12Stones brand standards and visual identity.

- Deliver assets on time and in alignment with campaign priorities.

Collaboration

- Work closely with the Marketing Manager, ministries, and leadership to support church-wide campaigns, events, and initiatives.

- Provide content support for cross-departmental projects and ministry-specific needs.

Qualifications

Education + Experience

- 2+ years of professional experience in photography, videography, and social media management.

- Proven portfolio of work across digital platforms.

Skills + Abilities

- Advanced editing skills in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.

- Experience managing social media platforms with a strong understanding of best practices.

- Strong storytelling instincts and creative eye.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
