What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Associate Director to serve as the Palantir Foundry technical lead for a major federal health payment integrity modernization initiative. This role will provide hands-on technical leadership for the design, configuration, integration, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of a Palantir Foundry-based operating environment that connects healthcare claims, payments, referrals, authorizations, providers, pricing logic, rules, analytics, workflows, dashboards, and audit trails.

The ideal candidate combines deep Palantir Foundry expertise with enterprise data architecture and integration experience, strong technical delivery leadership, and the ability to translate federal health program and payment integrity requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable platform capabilities. Experience with healthcare claims, reimbursement, or federal health consulting is strongly preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary Palantir Foundry technical lead, accountable for the platform’s architecture, configuration, implementation, and technical quality.
- Translate federal health, payment integrity, data, security, and operational requirements into a scalable Foundry solution and technical roadmap.
- Lead development of Foundry data pipelines, Ontology, operational applications, workflows, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
- Design and govern healthcare data models connecting claims, claim lines, remittances, providers, referrals, authorizations, pricing data, rules, findings, analyst actions, and recovery outcomes.
- Oversee data ingestion, transformation, validation, reconciliation, lineage, metadata, and quality controls for batch and near-real-time processing.
- Guide implementation of configurable rules, advanced analytics, anomaly detection, explainability, and human-in-the-loop review workflows.
- Ensure secure, auditable, scalable, and resilient platform operations, including access controls, environment management, release governance, monitoring, performance, and production readiness.
- Lead technical design reviews, Agile planning, testing, demonstrations, user acceptance testing, deployment, and ongoing platform enhancements.
- Provide technical direction and quality oversight to Palantir developers, data engineers, application developers, integration engineers, and data scientists.
- Partner with federal clients, program leaders, business subject matter experts, security stakeholders, and technology teams to resolve technical decisions, risks, and dependencies.
- Mentor technical staff and help grow Guidehouse’s Palantir capability through reusable assets, delivery standards, training, solutioning, and business development.

What You Will Need :

- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- TEN (10) or more years of experience in data engineering, enterprise data architecture, platform implementation, systems integration, application development, or a related discipline, with increasing technical and delivery leadership responsibility.
- SEVEN (7) or more years with strong hands-on proficiency designing, developing, and deploying production solutions in Palantir Foundry.
- Experience leading a team of Palantir Foundry developers, engineers, or architects through the architecture, development, and production deployment of an enterprise-scale implementation.
- Experience with core Palantir Foundry capabilities, including data ingestion and source connectivity, Pipeline Builder and code-based transformations, Ontology design, Workshop and operational application development, analytics and visualization, access controls and permissions, data lineage and versioning, testing and monitoring, and release management.
- Experience designing and governing batch, incremental, and near-real-time data pipelines, including data modeling, source-to-target mapping, metadata, lineage, reconciliation, and data quality controls.
- Experience designing applications and workflows that convert data and analytic results into operational decisions and track actions through resolution.
- Experience integrating Palantir Foundry with enterprise APIs, data platforms, source systems, identity services, and downstream applications.
- Experience implementing solutions involving sensitive or regulated data and applying security, privacy, access control, auditability, and compliance requirements.
- Experience n Python, SQL, and PySpark, with working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or other languages used in Palantir and enterprise data platform development.
- Experience leading technical delivery within an Agile environment, including design reviews, code reviews, testing, release planning, and production deployment.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Palantir certification or equivalent evidence of advanced Palantir Foundry expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical workstreams and lead, mentor, and provide quality oversight to technical teams in a client-facing delivery environment.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to facilitate technical decisions, explain tradeoffs, present architecture, and translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience delivering Palantir solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal health agency.
- Previous federal health consulting experience involving direct engagement with government program, data, security, and technology stakeholders.
- Experience with healthcare claims and payment data, including X12 837 claims, X12 835 remittance transactions, claim-line data, provider data, referrals, authorizations, and claim-to-payment reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, VA Community Care, TRICARE, healthcare reimbursement, or government-sponsored payment integrity programs.
- Experience with healthcare payment integrity, claims validation, improper-payment prevention, utilization analytics, recoveries, or fraud, waste, and abuse detection.
- Experience operationalizing AI or machine learning capabilities in Palantir, including anomaly detection, risk scoring, explainability, model monitoring, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability and coding standards, including HL7, FHIR, X12 EDI, NCPDP, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10.
- Experience supporting FedRAMP-authorized environments, federal authorization-to-operate processes, continuous monitoring, federal security compliance, or Section 508 accessibility.
- Experience supporting solution architecture, technical demonstrations, proposals, staffing estimates, or business development for Palantir-enabled opportunities.

The annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
