ROLE SUMMARY
Merkle seeks an accomplished Solution Architect to drive pre-sales discovery, solution design, and value articulation for Adobe Consulting Services (ACS) engagements. This role bridges the needs of Adobe sellers, and clients need to best shape compelling solution narratives that demonstrate tangible business value and expedite sales cycles.

• Lead discovery workshops and deep-dive sessions to assess client technology maturity, identify capability gaps, and align technical findings with business objectives.
• Design and facilitate discovery that uncover client challenges across content supply chain (asset management, production workflows, governance), data strategy, and customer journey orchestration.
• Translate technical findings into business-focused solution narratives that clearly articulate ROI, timeline, risk mitigation, and organizational impact.
• Partner actively with Adobe sellers to understand deal scope, competitive positioning, and sales strategy; provide technical credibility and solution clarity that accelerates deal advancement.
Solution Architecture and Business Case Development
• Own the solution architecture narrative for pre-sales engagements, defining phased roadmaps that sequence activations to maximize value realization and align with client budget and timing constraints.
• Design target-state architectures across Adobe Experience Cloud, specifically within content supply chain (Workfront, GenStudio, AEM Assets) and data and journeys (AEP, AJO, CJA), integrated with client martech and data ecosystem.
• Build compelling business cases that quantify tangible value: cost savings, time-to-market acceleration, operational efficiency, revenue impact, and risk mitigation.
• Define roadmaps, people and process recommendations, capability sequencing, and success metrics that demonstrate measured business outcomes.
• Develop solution presentations that bring high-impact value propositions, complete with architectural diagrams, integration flows, data models, and ROI quantification.

• Demonstrate working understanding of how each tool solves core client challenges and what ACS services can deliver to accomplish client goals.
• Do not require hands-on keyboard expertise, but must credibly advise clients and sellers on platform capabilities, limitations, integrations, and implementation approaches.
• Stay current on product roadmaps, emerging AI capabilities (GenStudio, Firefly, predictive decisioning), and industry best practices.
Sales Enablement and Partner Collaboration
• Partner consistently with Adobe account teams and sellers to position ACS capabilities and identify Adobe licensing expansion opportunities.
• Work closely with technical SMEs, delivery leads, and enterprise architects to ensure solution feasibility, accurately scope pre-sales engagements, and set clear expectations for delivery.
• Provide technical credibility in client conversations, building confidence in solution feasibility and ACS capability to deliver.
• Develop reusable discovery frameworks, solution templates, and business case models that accelerate future pre-sales engagements.
Solution Quality and Risk Management
• Identify technical risks, integration complexity, capability gaps, and resource constraints early in pre-sales engagements.
• Propose mitigation strategies and alternative approaches that balance client objectives with realistic timelines and budgets.
• Ensure solution designs are technically sound, feasible within proposed scope, and aligned with ACS delivery capability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
