**This is not a janitorial cleaning position**
The job: We need an experienced carpet tech for commercial work. Most of it happens after the building closes: evenings and weekends.
- Hours: 2 shifts a week guaranteed (10–15 hours), more some weeks based on need and your availability.
- Daytime work: If you have daytime availability, we can likely give you more hours.
- Not janitorial: This is skilled carpet and floor work.

Qualifications
Must have
- Carpet experience: You've run extraction equipment (truck mount and portable). You know how to pre-treat, handle spots, and leave carpet clean and dry, not wet and wicking back.
- Reliability: You show up when you say you will. We pay above market for someone we don't have to chase.
- Driving: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical: You can lift 60 lbs and handle physical work for a full shift.
- Background check: You can pass a criminal background check. You'll often be working alone inside customers' buildings.
Nice to have (we'll train you if not)
- IICRC carpet cleaning certification, which bumps your pay
- Hard floor strip and wax
- Ceramic tile and grout cleaning
- Upholstery cleaning
- Window cleaning
