About this role
Work Flexibility: Onsite
At Stryker, we’re committed to improving healthcare through cutting edge medical technologies. As a Staff R&D Engineer at our Stryker Peripheral Vascular Division, you will be a technical lead on our R&D Concept team. This role will drive the identification, evaluation, and integration of novel sensing technologies into future vascular catheter platforms, with the goal of improving procedural efficiency, physician decision-making, and patient outcomes. Specifically, you will act as a Sensor SME and lead the conception, development, and validation of advanced sensing modalities relevant to our catheter-directed therapies. You will partner closely with physicians, engineering teams, technology suppliers, and strategic collaborators to define requirements, assess technical feasibility, and accelerate the development of breakthrough vascular products.
This role will sit in Irvine, California.
