We are seeking to hire a Reliability Engineer for our Orlando site.

The Reliability Engineer will develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and Design‑of‑Experiments (DOE) constructs. This role focuses on identifying and resolving electromechanical technical issues, hardware/software integration problems, and ensuring product reliability meets company, customer, and governmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute reliability studies; recommend design, test methods, and statistical process‑control procedures.
* Compile and analyze performance reports and process‑control statistics; investigate variables affecting product and processes.
* Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and propose design or formulation changes as needed.
* Determine units/batches requiring environmental testing and specify minimum sample sizes for statistically valid data.
* Identify and resolve electromechanical technical issues and hardware/software integration problems.
* Troubleshoot technical problems, analyze data to identify failure trends, and recommend corrective actions to the company or customer.
* Interact with subcontractors, engineers, program managers, and customers throughout investigations.
* Prepare technical reports, white papers, and documentation of findings.
* Conduct FRACAS, Engineering Screening Board (ESB), Engineering Change Board (ECB), Failure Review Board (FRB), and Directors Capital Review Board (DCRB) activities.
* Recognize improvement opportunities based on failure data and drive corrective actions.

Job Description:

Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (doe) constructs. Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Analyzes preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives. May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks. As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability. May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with reliability predictions and analyses.
• Familiarity with reliability FRACAS
• Familiarity with the FMECA process.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
• Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM related field from an accredited college with 3 years of professional experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
