Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervise the daily operations of the Public Area Housekeeping team.
- Ensure all public areas, including but not limited to:  restrooms, entrances, hallways, and exterior spaces are maintained to established cleanliness standards.
- Manage floor care programs, including carpet care, hard surface maintenance, and specialty cleaning processes.
- Oversee the safe and effective use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and snow removal equipment.
- Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure productivity and service excellence.
- Conduct performance management activities including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule deep cleaning projects and preventative maintenance programs.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new cleaning products, supplies, and equipment to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor departmental budgets, labor costs, inventory levels, and operational expenses.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational needs and guest expectations are met.
- Respond to guest and team member concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare reports and maintain departmental records as required.
- Incorporate and use AI to make the PAH department run as efficient as possible.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in housekeeping, public area operations, or a related hospitality environment.
- Experience managing staff in a 24/7 operation, including hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
- Extensive knowledge of floor care procedures, surface cleaning techniques, cleaning chemicals, and housekeeping equipment.
- Experience with snow removal equipment and exterior property maintenance preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience with budgeting, labor management, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling and property management systems is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business needs require.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to operate housekeeping and snow removal equipment safely.

Reports To: Director of Housekeeping / Executive Housekeeper (as assigned)
