Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager through all phases of construction projects, from startup through closeout.
- Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, permits, contracts, and project records.
- Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, material procurement, and vendor/subcontractor compliance requirements.
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, invoice review, and subcontract administration.
- Support project scheduling, milestone tracking, and procurement efforts to help maintain project timelines.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential schedule, cost, or coordination issues.
- Assist with quality control, safety documentation, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, procurement processes, and change management.
- Experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, and subcontract administration.
- Proficiency in ACC, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and other construction management software.
